Biography
I am a teacher, author, editor, speaker, discussion group facilitator, retreat leader, grant writer, wife, and mother.
Present employment: Dallas/Fort Worth Program Director for The ARKGroup, where we teach parents, teachers and any other adults who care about kids how to love and foster children so that they develop a healthy concept of themselves as persons worthy of love and respect.
Education: BA in Economics, University of Texas at Austin 1965; MA in Teaching Reading, Southern Methodist University, 1971.

"Making a Difference in the Lives of Kids: We Have an Incredible Power at Our Fingertips"--The primary source of children's healthy sense of themselves is the way the adults in their lives treat them. Love, care and respect has an incredible effect on a child, young person (or an adult). We use this power for good when we give time, attention, understanding, support and commitment.
"Parenting with Spiritual Power"--Spiritual techniques for bringing the power of God's love into your relationship with your children. Techniques: Relaxation and visualization, Prayer in the Moment, Seeing with God's Eyes, Using a Prayer Journal.
